Spanish Flair, Santa Barbara Historical Museum

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we are featuring our dear friends Krista & Alan who got married in September at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.  This was a special wedding for us as Scott was the Best Man and I got to be a guest!  Charlotte was 3 weeks old and was strapped to me while my team and I set up for this gorgeous spanish inspired wedding.  Krista and her mom didn't leave any details out, and as a result, I Heart My Groom captured this beautiful, romantic wedding, enjoy!
It is always fun when my Brides want color!
The wooden tables with the cobalt blue and colorful florals were to die for!
Krista collected various cobalt blue vessels for a year, totally worth it!
They were married under a simple, understated arch made with seeded eucalyptus.
Dahlias, Roses, Succulents & Thistle covered the cake.
Blue thistle was placed in each napkin for a finishing touch.
Lounge Furniture with mexican blankets gave a cozy place for us to relax with our margaritas!
The Santa Barbara Historical Museum is absolutely stunning at night too!  Can't wait for our next wedding there in June with Robin Sonner Events (805-687-3345)

Bel Air Bay Club Wedding

Natalie and Win were married at the Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, the views were beyond stunning and the weather was perfect!  Jenny from Alders Photography (who I had the pleasure of hanging with at The Cream Event last night) captured the day perfectly and just informed me that it will be featured on a major blog in the near future.  Hallie from La Boheme Events, Jen from Prim & Pixie and Melissa from MJB Cakes (who I also got to hang with at The Cream) did an amazing job on the design of the wedding, paper goods and delish cake & dessert bar, I could not have been in better company for this gorgeous beach front wedding!
The Bride wanted to have a classy beach theme which Hallie designed perfectly.  Loved the addition of the vintage pink goblets!
Lots of candles, driftwood and garden roses made it super soft & romantic.
The main room in the Bel Air Bay Club is to die for.
The Groom is from Australia where the fiddle fern is symbolic, so we incorporated into the boutonnieres to honor his homeland.
Our custom sea glass vases with just a hint of peach lined the escort card table.
Wispy eucalyptus and soft white flowers decorated the massive fountain in the courtyard.
We created a large, natural garland to compliment the amazing view.
MJB Cakes will seriously blow your mind.
I want a margarita.  Is it 5pm yet?
Loved the paper goods provided by Prim & Pixie, they tied everything together.
